Maria and Rick came to us just weeks before their wedding and asked if we could shoot it. Thankfully for both them and us, we didn't have the date booked yet. Due to a venue mishap in Las Vegas, Maria and Rick had to change not only the venue but also the date of their wedding which consequently threw off some of the vendors as they had previous weddings already booked on the new date. In the end it all worked out and Maria and Rick had a drop dead gorgeous wedding. Read more...
In anything I edit, the first 30 seconds is the most important. It sets the tone for the rest of the edit and it is my one opportunity to capture your attention for you to want to watch the rest. In this case I could resist showing everybody the beginning of the edit. I wrapped it up in teaser form an uploaded it for everybody to see. Read more...
Recently we were asked to film a photoshoot at The Villa, how could we say no to such a beautiful location and talented people? When we first walked through the huge old wooden gates we were not ready for the lush scenery that lay on the other side. Immediately I started thinking to myself that I wanted to shoot this, and that, oh and that cool thing over there. I was quickly overwhelmed with so much to shoot that I had to take a step back and go to work. Read more...
The original purpose of this video was to win some free gear so that I can ever increase the refinement that are my tools. But as I watched this project unfold in front of me, it organically changed into something so much more. Its funny how things change, isn't it?
Why so many questions?
When tasked with describing me, who I was, what I was about, I thought it was going to be easy. But as I started to figure out how I was going to edit and shoot, I was flooded with more questions than answers. Who was I really? Why am I doing what I'm doing? What makes me different than anybody else doing the exact same thing? Read more...

A few weeks ago Marilyn (who we first met when we shot her wedding) contacted us and wanted to know if we wanted to do a mock vintage wedding shoot. Of course we said "heck yeah!" We didn't know much more than that until the day before the shoot. She emailed us the location which happened to be not to far from us, Orange Empire Railway Museum. When we first got to the train station, it was like finding a hidden treasure, we were all looking around in disbelief. We had no idea something so amazing was located so close to where we live. Once we found Marilyn she walked us around and told us that the movie "Water for Elephants" actually did filming there not too long ago for part of the movie, which is where the inspiration for this whole shoot came from. What was most amazing to me out of the whole day was how excited all the vendors were to get together out of their own free time and make something amazing. It was a pleasure to work with all the amazing talent that went into the making of this extra ordinary day. Read more...

Update: The full edit is out! A Vintage Wedding Vignette
This edit is for a wedding show we are attending tomorrow Sunday the 17th of April. weddingwiseshow.com
It has various weddings we've shot this past year and some from weddings we haven't put up yet.
Additionally there is some footage in there from a shoot we did with the Magic Lantern T2i Hack. After shooting a full day with the firmware hack applied, we will definitely be using it full time on all our shoots. More on that later...
Oh also I hope you enjoy the end title sequence, that was a first for me and I think it turned out better than I was expecting.
P.P.S. I touched up the animated logo at the front, added anamorphic flare, changed the lighting, did a slow camera push and adjusted the dust. When I get more time, I'll hopefully finish my vision for it.
Let me know what you think, its a bit edgy for a wedding teaser.

Whew, this was a long time coming! I've been patiently waiting for this site to be up and running. This is merely a formal introduction to our new site design.
Before I tell you about the new site, it would be daft of me to to not explain the old one and how we arrived at today.
When we first started this site we didn't have any content to really make the site robust. So I designed it with future content in mind, but I did what everybody else does as far as presentation. This time around I had plenty of content to work with, to really utilize. I wanted to do something different. I wanted to make it much easier to find what you were looking for and quick.
The Front Page
This is a bare bones page that only has the content you need when you first visit the site.
