Well we finally did it, we shot a proposal video. But of course we couldn't do normal could we? Apparently many years ago, in one of the first weddings we shot, was a man named Hugo. He was the best man to Andrew. He was familiar with our work and just had to have us shoot his proposal video. He came to us a few months ago and shot us a couple of ideas. We were so excited to work with him on this that we just had to do it. The only catch was they live in Texas and we live in California. Amanda and Nicholas were married at the Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center in Fallbrook, California. Both Amanda and Nicholas now hold the record for the youngest couple I have shot for (Amanda 18 and Nicholas 20), but don't let their age fool you! Sarah and Luke were married at The Filter Building which sits right next to the White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas. Sarah and Luke are family, and I couldn't have been more happy by both shooting and being a part of their wedding. Really, it was a three day event covering both Sarah and Luke graduating from TCU, Luke being commissioned into the Army as an officer, and ending with the two of them being joined in marriage.

We don't get out much here at Rustic Red Studio. When we aren't shooting, we are in the studio editing. And we pretty much shoot most of our weddings within driving range of where we live. So when a destination wedding came in to being for us, I thought it would be a good idea to document it. But like most things I plan, they don't go according to plan. Instead of doing a behind the scenes look at how we shot the destination wedding, all I was left with was getting there and getting back.
